United Way Raising Money for Flood Relief | Business

People throughout Southeast Minnesota are still recovering from damage caused by September's floods.  This week, you can help the United Way raise money needed to help people rebuilding their lives.

The United Way of Olmsted County is hosting "Live United. We Got You, Minnesota", a fundraiser for the group's Long-Term Recovery Fund.  It takes place at 7:00-11:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 19 at the Wicked Moose Bar & Grill, 1201 Eastgate Drive SE in Rochester.

A good-will donation will be collected at the door.

ABC 6 News anchor Ericka Miller will be among the local celebrities helping raise money and awareness following the September 23 floods that devastated many communities and destroyed homes.  Entertainment includes comedy, live music, dancing, and a silent auction.
