Albert Lea Man Dies In Head On Collision | Crime

The Minnesota State Patrol reports that a man from Albert Lea died in a head on collision Saturday night. Authorities were called to scene at 10:38pm.
Authorities say 47 year old Michael Skov of Albert Lea was driving on Highway 13, one and a half miles north of Albert Lea. That's when authorities say his car crossed the center line, into oncoming traffic.
The oncoming car carried three people inside it. The vehicle collided head on with the car driven by Skov.
Authorities say Skov was wearing his seatbelt. He was the only person in his vehicle.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 17 year old male from Freeborn, was treated and released at Mayo Clinic Health System - Albert Lea. The two passengers, a 16 year old from New Richland and a 27 year old from Wells, were also treated and released.
Fire Departments from Manchester and Albert Lea were called to the scene.
