Flood Risk Open Houses

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), in partnership with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR), will host flood risk information open houses for Mower and Freeborn counties.

Newly released preliminary Digital Flood Insurance Rate Maps will be displayed so residents can learn about their risk of flooding and how this will affect their lives and property.  Property owners, realtors, lenders and insurance agents may drop-in at any time during the event to speak with DNR representatives and learn more about flood risk and hazard mitigation within their community.
